has anyone else watched full metal jacket and thought sanzo?
just imagine the look of childish joy on his face if kanzeon bosatsu gave him a high-powered assault rifle instead of a six-bullet revolver.....
or if the anime actually colored gojyo's hair red (but this isn't really the place to rant about that)

All right. I just want you to know that I'm completely blind, and only thought this about the thumbnail, but... when I first looked, I thought Sanzo had a fishing pole. And I laughed my ass off. Which is a very hard task.
When I realized he had a rifle, I was actually a little disappointed. XD But Sanzo doing any sort of activity like fishing, I suppose, is completely out of character for him... I guess if he lost his Smith and Wesson he would beat demons (and sometimes people) off with whatever was lying around. Which could be a fishing pole. Gojyo would have to be restrained, though, before he killed himself for laughing so hard at watching Priest Hardass terminate demons with the swift cast of his rod. (Haha. I said "rod". )
