i dont know if my new practice of using backgrounds really works for this commission or not.
might have to try again considering.
i need to draw hakkai more... i just so dont have his character down.
but,
asked for a commission reminscent of my sanzo and sublime pic, so i tried to think of saiyuki boys in modern day college setting. hakkai riding on a bus.
i swear.
i just was.... semi happy with this so ill post anyways

I think this is just beautiful. I think the background is lovely too. I disagree with you, I think you did a wonderful job getting his character to come through.
